DronePower1 combines advanced drone technology with solar panel
maintenance. The fleet is built around industrial-grade aerial cleaning
platforms, purpose-built drones engineered for agricultural spraying
and touch-free surface cleaning.
DronePower1 was founded by Paul Lyman, an
FAA Part 107-licensed Remote Pilot with more than
30 years of military and commercial aviation experience. As a veteran
F-15E fighter Aviator and commercial airline captain, Paul brings a
cockpit mindset of disciplined checklists, risk management, and calm
execution to every cleaning plan, from pre-flight inspections to
controlled spray lanes to verified handoff.
Every job uses deionized water combined with a professional-grade,
independently certified solar cleaning formula. The solution is
biodegradable, water-based, and free of solvents, ammonia, chlorine,
and bleach, independently verified safe for panel glass, aluminum
frames, anti-reflective coatings, and silicone seals. It lifts
dust, pollen, organic matter, and grease through touchless action,
then rinses away cleanly and air-dries without residue. Because the
formula is biodegradable and free of harsh chemicals, the runoff is
sewer-safe and won't harm birds, pets, wildlife, or surrounding
landscaping, an environmentally friendly clean from rotor to rinse.
The Part 107 certificate is the Federal Aviation Administration's
commercial drone pilot credential, the same authorization required
for any commercial aerial work in U.S. airspace. It governs flight
operations, airspace authorization, and the safety procedures the
crew runs on every visit.
Service areas span the Palm Springs and greater Coachella Valley,
with upfront pricing and a process designed to keep
roof access, liability, and customer hassle low.
